Buildings List

All buildings that can be constructed with the Construct Building action are listed here. There are three categories of building: Economic, Civic and Military.

Each building has a Build Cost, Upkeep, and provides a benefit.

The Build Cost must be paid immediately upon taking the Construct Building action, with resources available to your Realm on that turn. At the start of the next turn the building will have finished construction and begins to take resources in upkeep on that turn, and every following turn, reducing your total available resources. Each building provides the benefit described.

Economic Buildings

Banking Guild

Build cost: 1 Materials 🪵 3 Wealth 🪙

Upkeep: 2 Materials 🪵

Benefit: May go into -1 Wealth 🪙 without adverse effects.

Vast vaults and cunning financiers keep coin flowing even in dire times. Your Realm may start a turn with -1 Wealth 🪙 in available resources, without triggering any adverse effects due to upkeep costs.

Fertilizer Silos

Build cost: 2 Materials 🪵

Upkeep: 1 Materials 🪵

Benefit: +1 Food 🌾

Mulch and fertilizers are produced to improve the soil for higher yield farming.

Grain Exchange

Build cost: 1 Materials 🪵 1 Wealth 🪙

Upkeep: 1 Wealth 🪙

Benefit: +1 Food 🌾

A grand hall for merchants to import cereals, seeds and grains ready for milling.

Granary Quarter

Build cost: 1 Materials 🪵 2 Wealth 🪙 1 Food 🌾

Upkeep: 2 Wealth 🪙

Benefit: May go into -1 Food 🌾 without adverse effects.

Rows of warehouses and siloes store a variety of foods. Your Realm may start a turn with -1 Food 🌾in available resources, without triggering an adverse effects due to upkeep costs.

Logging Yards

Build cost: 2 Wealth 🪙

Upkeep: 1 Food 🌾

Benefit: +1 Materials🪵

A substantial lumber industry sacrifices some woodlands for raw materials.

Market Quarter

Build cost: 2 Materials 🪵

Upkeep: 1 Food 🌾

Benefit: +1 Wealth 🪙

A large market square where farmers sell their produce.

Smelter’s Row

Build cost: 2 Materials 🪵

Upkeep: 1 Materials 🪵

Benefit: +1 Wealth 🪙

Raw metals are forged into useful alloys and new commodities.

Butcher’s Square

Benefit: +2 Food 🌾

Freshly sliced livestock requires both finesse and speed.

Textile Mill

Grand Arena

A stadium, amphitheatre or coliseum where your culture inspires from a stage.

Place of Worship

A center for spirituality to foster community and well-being.

Station House

Benefit: All Messengers sent from your Realm have +1 Speed 👣

Emissary’s Court

Build cost: 1 Materials 🪵 3 Wealth 🪙

Upkeep: 2 Wealth 🪙

Benefit: Your Realm may pay the Influence 💠 upkeep to one treaty they are signed to for free 🪶. Your Realm must still pay the Influence 💠 cost to take the Sign Treaty or Draft Treaty action.

Military Buildings

Armorsmith’s Yard

Benefit: +1 Might ⚔️ to the Garrison of this Settlement

Training Grounds

Build cost: 3 Materials 🪵 1 Wealth 🪙

Upkeep: 1 Wealth 🪙 1 Food 🌾

Benefit: +1 Might ⚔️ to the Garrison of this Settlement

Better pay and better food attracts more people to city guard.

Cavalry Stables

Build Cost: 3 Materials 🪵 2 Wealth 🪙 3 Food 🌾

Upkeep: 2 Food 🌾 2 Wealth 🪙

Benefit: When an opposing army Retreats, from any army you control, they lose Might as normal. Then before combat ends, immediately make another combat roll with +2 Might ⚔️. The opposing army makes their opposed roll as normal and any further losses to either army are added. Combat then ends.

We shall not let our foes escape as we charge with the ferocity of our mounts.

Siege Workshops

Build Cost: 5 Materials 🪵 3 Wealth 🪙

Upkeep: 3 Materials 🪵 1 Wealth 🪙

Benefit: +2 Might ⚔️ to all armies you control during their first Siege roll against a Settlement.

Stronghold

Build Cost: 4 Materials 🪵 3 Wealth 🪙 1 Food 🌾

Upkeep: 2 Food 🌾 2 Materials 🪵

Benefit: +2 Might ⚔️ during Siege combat rolls for this Settlement.

A large fortified bastion dominates this settlement. Besieging forces will find stalwart resistance here.
